Village has just completed renovation of our new, 21st century, state-of-the-art, 797 compliant clean room. Our new lab meets or exceeds all Federal and State guidelines for Sterile Compounding Facilities. The lab also contains a separate room for sterile chemo mixing and compounding.
Village Compounding Pharmacy has recognized a growing demand by hospitals and other medical institutions for outsourcing many of their sterile injection needs, and has responded in two ways for meeting this demand.

• All pharmacy techs are now IV certified

This allows us to make large and small orders as required, and in much less time, as the urgency presents itself.

Due to the critical nature of sterile compounding, we have outsourced an offsite company to continuously monitor our buffer zones, air quality, surfaces, and our laminar flow hoods for any pathogen over-growth that could occur. The company also media tests our IV technicians every 6 months to ensure their techniques remain valid.
