What is a Cosmeceutical?
Cosmeceuticals are skin care products that
provide added benefits beyond a simple
cosmetic or moisturizer. They are natural,
noninvasive, gentle and safe. The outcome of
a healthy lifestyle, combined with a good
cosmeceutical treatment program, is often
younger, healthier, more vibrant and
beautiful skin.
Why Does Our Skin Age?
Skin ages due to both internal and external
factors. Internal aging occurs with the
passage of time and the natural changes in
body chemicals, such as hormones. External
aging factors may include: sunlight, air
pollution, harsh treatments to the skin,
detergents, cosmetics, and human diseases.
Some external aging can be prevented by
making healthy lifestyle choices, such as
limiting sun exposure and using good skin
care products on a daily basis.
How will my skin improve after using
Village Facelift products?
Lines and wrinkles will appear smoother,
sunspots may diminish and overall skin tone
and texture will improve.
When will I see results?
Results vary by individual and are not
guaranteed. However, improvement with DMAE
products may be seen within 20 minutes of
the first application. Improvement will be
seen in lines and wrinkles, overall skin
tone and feel. On the whole, users should
wait 90 days minimum to see any results.
Why do the Village Facelift products
require refrigeration?
Not all Village Facelift products require
refrigeration—just the cream formulas and
the lip balm. These products should be kept
refrigerated to maximize their effectiveness
and shelf life. You may store up to a week's
supply of Village product with your regular
make-up products, without refrigeration.
Village Facelift Cream
Do I need to use additional moisturizer
after applying the cream?
No. Additional moisturizer is not necessary.
How long should I wait to apply makeup after
applying the cream?
Wait approximately 1-2 minutes before
applying any makeup.
Should I avoid the sun while using the
cream?
All of our daytime creams have sunscreen,
which helps protect your skin from sun
damage. Additional sunscreen may be applied
if you have been sweating or swimming and
plan to remain outdoors.

Village Awaken Eye Serum
Village Awaken Eye Serum should be applied
twice daily and before all formulations of
the Village Facelift Cream.
Village Lip Balm w/DMAE
Scrub lips with a toothbrush before bed and
apply a liberal amount of lip balm. Leave on
overnight. This also may be applied
throughout the day.
Village C-Serum 10%
Test this serum on a small area of your face
before applying to entire area. Apply twice
daily, day and night, before Facelift Cream
application. A slight stinging and redness
may occur, which should diminish within 1-2
minutes of application. If it does not,
discontinue use.
